Conducting Clinically Sound ERMHS Evals
Description:
An ERMHS outline will be provided, and a discussion of the necessary components for a clinically sound and legally defensible evaluation will be discussed. This will be an opportunity to learn more about how to choose an appropriate test battery given the presenting mental health issues. We will also discuss the appropriate level of placement and services using case presentations, with a focus on how to defend against requests for more restrictive placement when not indicated and how to justify and document the need for services when they are.
